can i leave front of my car without a license plate, even tho i have one in the back?
ok i recently bought a car that in the back i could mount the license plate but in the front i cant. the screws arent in the right place. and im wondering if its necessary for me to make holes for it at the moment. or is the back license plate good enough?

I live in NYC (QNS). And the law is 2 plates (that is why they give you 2 plates). If you haven't received a ticket yet, it is only a matter of time.
DMV especially don't like that because some people will have the smart idea of registering ONE car then displaying it on TWO car.

Last month I receive a bill for over due ticket from 2002. Most of it was "failure to display plates in front or back". Luckily the tickets weren't mine and I'm fighting it.
