How do you detune on a double-locking guitar?
I have recently purchased a Ibanez RGR320EX, but I'm not quite sure how to detune it (it's the first double-locking guitar I've had).
I want to tune it to drop D and drop C mostly but possibly also some open tunings or double drop D...
Do I need to undo the pressure pads at the top of the neck or do something at the bridge?

It's a lot harder than you think...
A lot of parts on the guitar interact with each other, so..
every little thing you change on that guitar, changes several other things.
The neck tension, the string tension/pitch, the height of the bridge, the springs in the body, the string gauges, etc.
You can either take it in to a guitar tech first, and have him do it right,
or take it in to him tomorrow, when you've figured out how tough it is.
