What headphones work best with a guitar amp?
i am trying to buy headphones that serve a main purpose to be plugged into an amp. i tried a 1/4 adapter with regular headphones (like those on mp3s) and the sound is horrible and low. does anyone have any recommendations? nothing over 40 or 50$ at the most
also, ive heard of the Vox amPlug guitar amp and i was wondering if (unlike with amps) any headphones work fine with it, or would i still need headphones with better quality than regular mp3-like ones?
Even with high-quality headphones, it's always going to sound a little weird when you plug them into an amp.
A good pair of headphones comes in handy though. On a $50 budget I'd recommend the AKG K77's. They'll serve you well for recording, monitoring, practicing, etc.
