Is playing the bass guitar or electric guitar hard?
i really want to kno becuz i want to play either of those and i want to kno which one is harder and which one is best for me to learn. i have been playing the piano since i was 5 and i am getting really bored with it and i want to switch to another instrument so i can actually enjoy my music playing. so with that being said.... which is best for me to learn? electric guitar or bass guitar?
Start with an acoustic guitar. That is a better foundation for playing either bass or the electric guitar. Guitar is not as easy as most people seem to think. Even though you have had piano lessons, the guitar is completely different and requires much more strength and dexterity in your hands, especially your left hand. The acoustic guitar does not require an amp, like both the bass and electric guitar. The slightly thicker strings of the acoustic provide more resistance than the electric guitar and help to build callouses and finger strength faster. By learning the acoustic guitar first you will have a much better foundation for playing bass and anything you learn on the acoustic can be easily transferred to the electric guitar.
