Is there a trick to a single note piano tremolo?
Is there a trick to play a single note tremolo?
How does one go about practicing it?
I can never get the timing right.
For single note tremolo, you're basically trying to play rapid semi-quavers on the same note. Use BOTH fore-fingers to alternate striking the same key by hitting and releasing quickly. The faster you release after striking the key, the faster the key will return to its position for the next strike.
Then, practise!
