What's the best pickup arrangement on a stratocaster?
Such as SSS, HSS, Ect.
It depends what kind of tone you want. For a blues style sound SSS would be considered best, however if you were more of a heavy player the best configuration would be one that included a humbucker.
When putting in a humbucker its positioning depends on what tone you are seeking. For a brighter tone you would put it in the bridge pickup slot. For heavier tones, with more meaty riffs and an overall darker sound you would slot it into the neck pickup position.
